We're also very excited to announce that building upon the success of our Q1 LSD hackathon event in London, we'll be hosting another LSD hackathon for Drupal developers from Sunday June 1st to Monday June 2nd.

Large Scale Drupal Hackathon (June 1st - 2nd)

We're inviting LSD members, prospective members, and partners to send their best and brightest Drupal developers to our LSD hackathon to collaborate with technical leads at other large organizations working in cross-organizational teams supported by Drupal community leaders. The hackathon runs from 10am to 6pm on Sunday June 1st and 10am to 4pm on Monday June 2nd. This is a unique opportunity for your team members to work with other leading Drupal developers such as Jesse Beach (Drupal 7/8 Javascript maintainer), Devin Carlson (Media Module co-maintainer), Erik Webb (Security & Performance expert), and several others to improve Drupal and address your organization's shared needs and pain-points with the platform. An initial schedule is available, more details about the hackathon including additional community leaders participating at the hackathon will be posted in the coming weeks. Developers participating in the hackathon will need to RSVP to attend

About Large Scale Drupal

Large Scale Drupal (LSD) is strategic alliance for organizations where Drupal is an important part of their digital strategy - LSD Members meet regularly to discuss and collaborate on common problems - we provide a forum for enterprise users, listen to their needs, prioritize them as a group, and then figure out a proper way to address those needs through knowledge sharing, white papers, training and collaborative development projects. LSD enables our Member organizations to engage with and participate in the Drupal community giving them input into and insight on the future of the platform, helps them forge relationships with key community leaders and developers as well as their peers at other leading organizations running Drupal. For more information about the LSD Program, see the blog post by Dries announcing the Program, or our Drupal WatchDog Magazine article.
